The function:
When this black rubber knob is pressed (using your tea cup), HOT water will be dispensed.
It opens the valve, so you get HOT water for your GREEN Tea.
I feel it is a good feature as you can enjoy a cup of HOT green tea at anytime as it is reachable in close proximity to where you are seated.
Hence this is a HOT water dispenser knob. Its function is to DISPENSE HOT water for GREEN Tea in a Japanese restaurant ;)
As for the 'holes', they are there just incase some hot water are still 'dripping' after you've pressed that 'BLACK rubber knob'. It serves the function of ensuring hot water doesn't flow all over the place:)
By the way, this place is called 'SAKAE SUSHI'. It is not the place with the best sushi but one of the most popular in Singapore. Queuing to dine there is a craze. I managed to cut queue becos my friend and I compromised as we dun mind the COUNTER seats:)
So who is MR/MISS SHARP EYES DP?
hmmm....Looks like none comes close. Initially I thought Keropok man or maybe Macky might guess it ;) But in anycase I personally enjoyed this quiz setting, not just setting the question but also receiving your imaginative answers/comments has really been an interesting yet interactive experience:) Hope you all have a great time guessing and enjoyed the game too:)
